Watching movies while you’re stuck in the hospital is just what the patients need to get their mind off troubling things such as chemo, sickness, shots, pain, surgery, and other hospital procedures. At the Egleston Family Library a collection of movies are available for check out during an inpatient stay. Watching a movie passes the time away and going to the library gets the children active, known as motivational exercise. After providing at least one copy to the family library, copies of the same DVD will be provided to the Aflac Family Room or Scottish Rite.
Scottish Rite is a Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Hospital that has an Aflac Cancer Center and Blood Disorders Service unit that works closely with CHOA of Egleston. New DVD's will also serve as gifts to patients during the holidays. So if you have slightly used DVD's take them off the shelf and send them to the foundation or purchase one to donate. Since this hospital is a children’s hospital no R rated movies can be accepted.

Every donation is cleaned and packaged keeping the health of the patient in mind and delivered to the hospital.
